About CJ
Hi, I’m CJ — a yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, and lifelong student of the body’s innate intelligence.
My path began in the fast-moving world of fashion, where I spent years modeling for major brands and magazines. Eventually, that pace left me feeling disconnected and depleted, and I began seeking something more grounded — a way of living that honored both body and spirit.
Through the tantric lineage of yoga, I’ve come to see practice not as an escape from life, but as a way to return more fully to it — with presence, compassion, and awareness. My work now weaves together yoga therapy, Ayurveda, and energy healing to support nervous system regulation, balance hormones, and cultivate a deeper sense of nourishment in everyday life.
These practices are an invitation to slow down, soften, and remember your own wholeness — to move through the world with more steadiness, peace, and ease.
You are welcome here, just as you are.

“When we walk like we are rushing, we print anxiety and sorrow on the earth. We have to walk in a way that we only print peace and serenity on the earth... Be aware of the contact between your feet and the earth. Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet.”

Yoga Therapy FAQs
-
Yoga therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship. It involves personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices tailored to the clients individual's needs.
-
Unlike general yoga classes that follow a set sequence for all participants, yoga therapy offers individualized sessions based on a comprehensive assessment of your physical, mental, and emotional health. The practice is customized to support your specific health goals and conditions.
-
It really depends on what you're looking for—whether you want a private yoga class or a more therapeutic, yoga therapy session.
If you’re booking a yoga therapy session, we start with a conversation and an intake form to get a sense of where you’re at physically, emotionally, energetically. The session is 90 minutes and totally personalized to support you. We might work with gentle movement, breathwork, myofascial release techniques, restorative shapes, meditation, or guided rest—whatever helps bring your system back into balance.
These sessions are especially helpful if you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, or just disconnected. Yoga therapy offers simple, science-backed tools to help regulate your nervous system and restore a sense of ease from the inside out. It's not about pushing or performing but rather about slowing down, tuning in, and feeling supported and seen.
A 1:1 yoga class, on the other hand, is a bit more flow-based. It’s like a regular yoga class, but just for you—tailored to your goals and pace. Great if you want to build strength, work on alignment, or have a more focused practice.
Either way, you're held with love and care.
-
Yoga therapy can support individuals dealing with a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and more. It's suitable for all ages and abilities, and practices are adapted to meet each person's unique needs.
-
Not at all. Yoga therapy is accessible to everyone, regardless of prior experience. The practices are tailored to your comfort level and capabilities.
-
It really depends on your goals and what you’re working through. Some clients benefit from just a few sessions to learn specific practices they can continue at home, while others find ongoing support helpful—especially during times of stress, recovery, or transition.
My aim is to empower you with tools and techniques you can integrate into daily life—like breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness—to help regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and build resilience from the inside out. Together, we’ll co-create a plan that supports your growth and honors your pace.
-
You can begin by scheduling an initial consultation to discuss your needs and how yoga therapy can support you. From there, we'll develop a personalized plan tailored to your unique goals.
